Hi-Fi and Music:some light relief

Reading a number of the discussions/debates that seem to keep recurring in this forum, I was reminded of Flanders and Swann's take on the topic from nearly 60 years ago in their "Song of Reproduction"

Have a listen  at, e.g.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNGcCFr0eXE    and see what you think.

Enjoy!

They certainly repay revisiting - I was going to cite some tracks, like "The Reluctant Cannibal", Madeira M'dear", "Mesalliance", and then I realised the list would go on and on.... Incidentally on the internet there is a nice video which matches the defunct stations on "Slow Train" to old photos of the stations.
