New limited edition kef ls50

Hi all, there 3 limited edition kef ls50 announced. Lots of people are going to be happy having more choice.
UK Exclusive: This weekend's Hi-Fi Show Live in Windsor will also see the exclusive reveal of KEF's LS50 mini-monitor in three special edition finishes; Titanium Grey, Racing Red and Frosted Black. Available in the UK from early November.

There is a picture on Facebook and I will try to add it.

Thank you. Anyone knows is stand on the left is custom design because I don't recognise the central coloumn color. I like titanium grey

They look to be Custom Design FS104 Signature stands.

They look to be Custom Design FS104 Signature stands.

       

I agree but the custom design I have seen where quite black like you can see from my own profile pics. I don't know if it is the light but these ones match the titanium grey big time...
The color seems to be just on the front while the back seems darker...
I hope we will see more pics from Windsor Hifi event this we. Anyone been there and saw them in the flesh? I put the deposit on mine but can perhaps do a last minute change :-)

I hope only a 'few' will have more choice otherwise 'limited edition' will be redundant. I'm waiting for the Banksy edition.

It depends. In the watch world for example, limited has two meaning: sometimes it is a set number or just something released for a special occasion. I don't know how it works in the Hifi world. Must admit that I don't know what banksy means ?

Limited should mean 'limited to' as in a restricted number. Something for a special occasion should say 'special edition', no claim to rarity or exclusivity. All marketing hype at the end of the day.

 

The finishes look good though, I think they missed a trick not getting more colours out sooner. The tangerine waveguide is not for everyone's front room! As for Banksy, he's an anonymous artist who is rather cunning with tins of spray paint. If he secretly paints your speakers one night don't clean them.

Like you, I think the color variations was long overdue...especially the black/blue and missing white/gold since they had the parts. No need for limited edition really
