Sad, sad news. Please be brave!

Yes, I have just read the news and have to confirm that it is true. Phil Collins is coming out of retirement.  Just when we thought we could carry on with our lives. Please be on your guard and warn your children of the devastating effects of getting anywhere near any of his ear and soul damaging material.

Be strong as this may hopefully be just a passing phase!

On a less fishy tone, I read this morning on Twitter that someone has launched an online petition seeking to prevent Phil Collins coming out of retirement. It has already attracted more than 500 signatures!  Clearly you are not alone, Tony.

Collins may have given his best live performance as an extra in the film "A Hard Day's Night".

Tony,

It seems you may have inspired a petition on change.org.

I knew I was not alone on  this one, Steve. We must stop him for mankind's sake.

The prize is an autographed picture of Jack Dempsey.

However I am amazed you didn't mention Aretha Franklin, the "Queen of Sole."

When I kept cichlids, many years ago, I always wanted a Jack Dempsey. I had plenty of Oscars though. The best one, who lived by himself, because he killed all the others, was called Oscar. Oscar the Oscar.

Why thank you, Doc.

I'm deeply humbled, this is a great honour. I'd like to thank my wife, my kids, my bro, my sis, my cousins, my mum, my nephews, friends, nieces, Phil from the corner shop, Maria from Vancouver, Slaven Bilic, Bobbie Gentry, the nice lady at the checkout in Sainsbury's, God, etc, etc
