Can't install Naim Download Manager

Posted by: Miles David on 01 November 2015

I've purchased and downloaded music from Naim label in the past with no problems. Yesterday I purchased three new albums but can't download them to my computer. I had the Naim Download Manager already installed but couldn't access the music I had just bought with it. So I deleted and uninstalled it and tried to download the Download Manager again. However, I'm then given a message that "an error occurred" and am prompted to login. When I try and do so I get the same error message. Can any one offer some help?  (I'm posting this under Streaming Audio because it seems the best fit.)

Presumably the download manager is optional?*

*I really hate these download managers, really really hate them.

Naim pretty much says it should be used.

fortunately unlike hdtracks, you can just ignore the download manager. All albums can be found under downloads. But you have to download each track individually.

It seems as if things have been changed after the big naimaudio.com update. www.naimlabel.com does not work anymore. And at least one album has to be downloaded from Bandcamp. I have no problems with using bandcamp it is just a new way of doing things. Claus

Being sent to Bandcamp confused me so much I walked away without purchasing. Naim label used to be an excellent online store for downloads. Seems kind of broken now.

When I try to download it takes me to Groove Music. I've e-mailed Naim support to get back to me,  I guess.
