Nac 62

hi all , can you tell me a bit about the nac 62 in terms of sound quality etc .Seen one serviced by class a at cymbiosis ,it will be used with a 250 hicap, thanks
Martin,
Take a look at this link: https://forums.naimaudio.com/to...ng-or-better-to-sell
I had a 62, albeit with a 120, and sounded kind of too mellow to me. Mind you it had not been serviced. I'm sure yours should sound a little more punchy and musical after Darran at Class A did a full service.
Good luck.

A Nac 62 is a great choice, I had one in my olive setup with great result
Just slightly prefer the Nac 72 to 62 with 250/HC but its not a world apart
Benefit you can insert phonocards and run a turntable direct-in as all did decades ago, still a fine solution I'd choose vs modern streaming
Cymbiosis or Class-A
both know what they are doing re. service so no worries
For that money it's going to be hard to beat and coming from Cymbiosis you know it will be a good one.
The 62 is a great pre, very fast and high on the boogie factor.
For £150 you can't go wrong. That said, the 72 is better, and with a 250 that's what I'd be after.

I would tend to agree with HH. What source are you using Martin?
I had 62/hicap/250 (all chrome bumper) for a few years and was very happy. They worked well together.
Then I lost the plot and went 52/SC/135s... better sound but not proportionately more enjoyment.
CDs and lp12 Chris
Buy it , enjoy it and that is an investment as well. You can`t go wrong!
