ReadyNAS V4.2.28 update

Not yet but I got the email. I had the impression they were doing a 'final' update as the model was being superceded.

Seemed to me they were just trying to persuade me to buy a new one.

Hi I got the same email not sure what to do  

I was thinking of changing my RND-V1 because it doesn't do WAV files for some reason so this email has got me scratchin me chin again. Not exactly great timing with Chrimbo coming up.

I was not even going to do the update as it works perfectly well!

Perfect timing - on for your Christmas list :-)  Though new NAS not really that exciting!!!

Good point. If it ain't broke don't fix it ?

I'm now running 4.2.28 - no problems at all.  Not sure that what it fixes was broke, but as it will be the last update I figured I may as well go out singing and bung it on right away!

I'm currently listening to my NDS / ReadyNAS Duo V2 at what I call a 'realistic' volume - SWMBO, who would call it 'loud', has departed to Wales for a couple of days.  Time to give the SuperLumia speaker cable a good run out too ! 

Update done with no problems .... Phew 

I got  the mail, but I have a Readynas Duo v2, so I thought it was spam or something worse!
