CDS2 + 555PS

Just wondering if a CDS2 + 555PS is possible?

Did anybody have experience with this combo?

David, yes, not just possible but very effective too, by all accounts. A forum search should bring up some discussion on this.

I used this setup for years and it is wonderful.  The 555PS adds a lot to the package.  You will be very happy with the non DR version.   Never heard the DR until I got the 555CD.

David - I can attest to the benefits of this moons back.

 

And it future-proofed a step to a CDS3 in time (some around these parts prefer over a CD555).

 

Care to check burndy needs - IIRC, you will need a new one as the XPS burndy doesn't work with 555PS(?)

If you're using a 555PS (or 555PS DR) on a CDS2 then the XPS or better yet, the S-XPS Burndy is the right one to use.
