EVENING WITH NAIM & FOCAL

Hi yesterday evening I attended a function held in conjuction with Surround Sounds, Naim Audio and Focal, which held at Surround Sounds, Nedlands perth Western Australia.

We were treated to a session listening to a statement and focal uptopias run by Andrew Sproul, Doug Graham, from Naim and last but not least Chris Murphy, Naim New Zealand What a magnificent system, way out of my league. Then to a 250 and 250dr, what a difference I certainly will be having my 300 dr,ed, essentially with the rebuilt you are getting a new amp. What other company other than Naim does that.

Steve, I heard the 300 and 250 back to back with the 300dr and 250dr on Saturday and, as you say, there is a huge difference and especially with the 250dr which I thought sounded superb

I was there too and it was a wonderful evening in a spectacular new showroom. I forgot to ask if anyone has hooked up three statement amps in active configuration.
