Adding photos from Flickr - something changed?

Posted by: rodwsmith on 17 November 2015

All the threads on this are now closed, and I cannot reply to Richard's above.

What used to work, no longer seems to.

I find the image, click on share (now just a curved arrow) and it gives me three options, none of which work:

-from your photostream on flickr click on the pic you want to upload.

-click on the curved arrow.

-click on the BBCode

-copy the string that comes out.

-go to padded cell and click on post reply.

-click on HTML.

-paste the pic on the opened window.

-click update.

-click on submit reply.

-you  now must see your pic.

-delete the ecxcessive part of the string by editing your pic once it's uploaded.

Sorry for my English and I hope this helps.

Yep, as Fabio says, it seems to work. I actually copied the HTML string rather than the BBCode, but otherwise Fabio's instructions are correct, and I'm sure you can choose either BBCode or HTML.

Are you sure Rod that you have followed Fabio's instructions precisely ? Once or twice I have found myself clicking the wrong icon in flickr or Naim eg the "Tree" in Naim which says "Insert/edit embedded media"

Not sure what will happen tomorrow after Hopeless have re-configured the website !!!!

Thank you!

I was not adding the HTML code, but clicking the add image/tree icon (which seemed logical somehow). This seems a bit more long-winded, but it works, so thank you!
