Naim 5i with i phone

Hi,  Why does i Pod connection work on front of 5i work OK but not with i-phone ?

Because it's a smart phone and won't let you spoil your Naim with Justin Bieber's latest hit.

 

Sorry, the door was wide opened.

 

Sometimes a protective case on the phone could cause the audio plug to not being inserted completely, but it's give the feel it is. So double check this, along with the audio volume adjustment on the phone.
