Naim app suggestion

Would it be possible for the Naim app to keep an iPad awake while it's full screen? Currently I have to mess around with the auto lock timings and since the highest is 15 minutes or the alternative is switching to 'Never' it's not much use for an iPad sitting on my desk while playing music.

I believe that there is code to disable the "idle timer" in iOS apps to allow this...whether the devs want to do it or can do it (does it conflict with something else??) is not clear to me.
I was talking to Apple's online help and it was they who asked if the app had this feature. Clearly many apps do otherwise an iPad or iPhone would power down it's screen within the set time and engage the screen lock during use.
The excellent paprika app keeps the device awake, 'cause its a recipe app and you don't want to have to turn the phone back on with mucky hands!
This feature is in the n-serve appk, at least when run on an iphone.
I never thought about looking for it when I had the Naim app on my iphone earlier this year.
well, my naim app is in dutch, but in english it must be something like this...
setup > other settings (5th) > stay connected (5th)

You're right, that is exactly what's needed. I was distracted by all this talk of iOS stuff!

I'm trying that as I type! Superb! That's the solution. Thanks David.
Another thing, I wonder if it's possible to be able to adjust the size of font of the 'now playing' text when you're on an internet radio station. It's fine when I'm at my desk but I can't read it from my couch and there's been some amount of jumping up and down trying to see who the current artist is!
Yeah, yeah, it's a tablet, move it with you......but it sits on a stand plugged into it's power supply.
Is that a viable thing to do in future releases?
