Super Lumina Speaker Cable Length
Posted by: sunbeamgls on 28 November 2015
Has anyone had any 1.5m or 2m lengths made up?
How does this affect price? Hopefully for the better!
Have you compared shorter lengths against the off the shelf minimum of 3m?
Thanks
The minimum length recommended by Naim is 3m. Even if they made up cables of 1.5m or 2m you would still pay the same as for 3m.

I have just installed the 3m set in place of 3.5m NACA5. Much easier to accommodate. Not worth the hassle or cost of anything else. Not to mention the re-sale value of a non standard length.
Thanks for the replies gents
Is the 3m minimum something to do with Naim amps and their needs? I don't use Naim amps so that wouldn't be relevant.
Rumours are Vertere is just about similar cable, maybe from same manufacturer, they take orders of any lenght I believe

Unfortunately it will still cost the same.

I believe it is certainly preferable with the classic series of Naim amps.

Externally looks very similar. Why not get a quote from Vertere. Can't vouch for the relative SQ qualities.
I have completely cabled my system with Vertere cables: Pulse D-Fi interconnect and Snaic 4/5, Pulse X mini speaker cable.
All in all, I am very satisfied: the speaker cables are especially good, but the global result seems to me worthwhile.
The guy I talked to at Vertere was very kind and supportive, I can't but recommend them.
My NACA5 is 8m per side. Hard to see SL in my future without rearranging things.
