Where to locate a phono stage

Hi
My dealer is due end of this week to install my new Fraim. I'm looking today at moving my wall shelf for the lp12. We are having the wall shelf above the Fraim.
We have a musical fidelity m1 lps phono stage which is a very similar size at a hi cap.
My dealer says he will be setting the Fraim up as follows
Cd5xs
202
250dr
Flat cap xs
Hi cap
Napsc I presume on the floor?
The only place the phono stage could go is next to the hi cap on the bottom shelf. Is this a bad place to put it?
It's currently sat on a £20 oak shelf wall mounted underneath the lp12 wall shelf.
I'm a bit unsure of having a £2500 Fraim sat there with my phono stage on a £20 block of wood?
Last problem is the standard tone arm cable from the lp12 won't be long enough to reach the bottom Fraim shelf.
Looking for some points if possible before I mount the wall shelf and possibly the oak block again?
Any thing I could ask my dealer to do before he arrives? Can we extend the tone arm cable?
Thanks

Surrounding your phono stage by power supplies sounds like a very bad idea. Although I think wall shelves usually look messy, at least this will isolate the very sensitive low level signal in the phono stage from the big transformers on your lower shelves. Did your dealer have any suggestions?

Would reversing the Flatcap, Hi Cap positions help?

What is the wall mount for the TT.

I have a Custom Design and was able to adapt it to accommodate my Stageline.

It's a target wall shelf, the oak shelf does sit neatly in between the bracing arms at the side of the shelf.
Having a measure the cables from the lp12 would be extremely tight in reaching the 2nd Fraim shelf so that's a no no too without extending the tone arm cable from the lp12.
I just then have the problem of the phono stage next to the hi cap.
Basically two options, extend the cable and make use of the Fraim by having it next to the hi cap.
Use the oak block and wall mount keeping it away from power supplies but missing out on the benefits of Fraim.

I don't have the benefit of comparing the Fraim vs wall mounting an LP12, but I wouldn't have thought you would be compromising it's performance greatly if at all.

You may even lose the benefits of the Fraim by having the phono next to the power supply.

Is it worth the hassle of trying to extend the cable.

Can you find a shelf more in tune with the aesthetics of the Fraim?

Can you try both options before deciding?

If the extended lead has to carry the tiny signal to he phono stage in a long run behind various black boxes, that sounds dodgy to me. I'd try to site tho phono stage nearer the turntable, even if it means not putting it on Fraim.

Sounds good to me. I'll put it like it was but in the new location.
Thanks
