Same on PC - must be a temporary glitch or maybe the office party last nite
Same on iPad. Glad to know it's not just me!

We're investigating. Seems to be the link that has broken. Relieved to see that the actual rooms are still there...
Richard Dane posted:To add a photo go to the insert/edit image box (the one that has a mountain in it) in the top bar of the Add Reply box. Then just paste in the direct URL (web address) of your image. It must be publicly accessible - i.e. hosted online and not password protected or private.
Richard,
I can't get the "mountain" insert/edit link to work when I try to post HTML photos from Flickr.
However, if I post the HTML Code into the Source Code box (the one that looks like this < >
, it seems to accept the image. This doesn't seem very intuitive, but i'm not sure why the more intuitive insert/edit doesn't work.
Don, I'm not sure either. Can you give me a Fickr image link and I'll try it from here.

Hi Richard,
Thank you for looking into this.
I'm not sure what sort of "Link" you need. The photo above is in Flickr and posted via "Source Code" ie < > on the Add Reply toolbar. If you click on it, you will go to my Flickr account and might be able to download the picture direct ?
The little "Thumbnail" below the picture is the same picture posted via "Insert/Edit Image"
The "Text" <a data-flickr-embed="true"............is the HTML code that I copied from Flickr to link the photo into the Forum.
As you might have gathered, I'm not very computer-literate ..............hopefully somebody (like Huge) who is, will step in to help.
Don, is that the village featured in that famous 1970s Hovis commercial?
I thought the Hovis advert was filmed in Howarth
I'm a Southern softie, all these places Oop North look the same to me... ![]()
Kevin,
It's Gold Hill in Shaftsbury. And yes, so far as I know, it's the place that was featured in the Hovis advert. Even though the advert would have you believe it was somewhere Oop North ![]()
Dayjay, You might well be right, or there could well be some other advert featuring Howarth.
Richard,
If we manage to figure out whether links to various picture hosting sites should be linked via Insert/Edit Image (Mountain) or via the Source Code ( < > ), your "Featured Topic" will need to be updated because the "HTML" icon referred to therein is no longer available.
If I can work out how I'll post a shot of Howarth which is 'up north' and which looks very similar. Lovely place too, we go every year in December for the Stroggling of the Holy, most Xmasy thing I've ever done.
