Christmas came early this year when my Kudos Titans 808 showed up.
Looking for "next step" after Ovator 600, the Titan 88 first caught my attention. After hearing the new 808 in Bristol earlier this year, I made up my mind and since then just been waiting for them to arrive.
After I had sold my Ovators, I borrowed a pair of Kudos Super 20 and was surprised that they sounded better in my room then the Ovators previously had.
Now, 3 hours after opening the boxes, putting the speakers in a "let's start with this position " in my Naim-Chord-Sonority system, they are just mind blowing!
Of course they need a couple of 100 hours to really sing as they should but good they are, straight from the box.
And damn good looking they are also ��

Gloss white is the colour, they look absolutely stunning.
Will post some pics if I can figure out how to do it...
First song was from Swedish singer/songwriter Anna Ternheim, take my advice and buy everything she's done.
Also played some Jeff Buckley, Johnny Cash, Kraftwerk and Flesh Quartet so far. Been quite emotional so far
Actually, I would like to play every song I have...

Looking at the way speaker companies like Kudos and B&W are going 'white' seems to be the new 'black'. The 808s are certainly more attractive than the 88s, but at a price.

I would guess it also depends on different markets. In Sweden White is and has been the colour for furniture for a while. The whiter, the better...
My Ovator 400 & 600 was both White and looked fantastic.
Now, if I only could post some pictures...

Interesting path Jonas because, if I'm not mistaken, Chris Bell took a similar route with speakers. I recall he had Ovator 600's, then the Super 20's, and is now with the T88's. Hopefully he'll see this and reply.

Yes, that's correct. He is also a Chord Sarum user. He only has Sonority to go

Until recently I wouldn't have been keen on white speakers. Then I saw a pair of Focal Sopra 2s in the flesh and they looked lovely.

Congrats on your new pair of 808s! I look forward to reading your review as they break-in. I too went from Ovator S600s to Titan T88's and I was heavily influenced from a demo of Super 20's in my system. Please post pics when you can... I love the look of the gloss white (my S600s were white and looked great in my home).

I will update more tomorrow (with pictures) but so far they almost "unreal". Never heard anything sound this good. Ever. Which is kind of fun after 30 years of being obsessed
Its in a total different league and A LOT better sounding compared to when I heard them in Bristol earlier this year.
What I have understood, Derek changed tweeter since then.
Chris: they would suit your room...at least from a design viewpoint...
