Whats spotifys issue?

Hello all,

I posted about a month ago on Spotify connect and its constant cutting and stuttering when streaming through my recently purchased mu-so.

The general response from a couple of people was that my internet connection was struggling with the high quality stream of spotify connect, so even though i didn't really believe this I lowered the quality settings and left it at that; everything was working - for a while.

So then the low quality started struggling to stream without problems too. After doing some investigating of everything here are the facts...

All apps, firmware, all up to date.
mu-so struggles to even play low quality songs now with spotify connect (ethernet connection)
High quality songs stream with no problem on spotify connect from phone through to my laptop (wifi connection)
My friends tidal service streams without problem through my mu-so (16bit FLAC)

So putting all the facts together it points to the problem being something other than the speed of my connection.
Ive emailed naim support but haven't heard back, If anyone could offer any insight or ideas i would be grateful.

I have this exact same issue... Ethernet wired,  high speed internet.  Spotify constantly cuts out,  very annoying.   Spotify plays fine on my alarm clock via an extender on wifi.... What gives?

Its very frustrating. Im in contact with spotify support but they only suggested making sure the ports were open which they already are.

Does anyone have any advice or input they can share?
