Supercap

I have a doubt. It is possible to connect a supernait and superline in the same SuperCap?
What would give greater result:
-Connect the SuperCap in supernait and HiCap in Superline, or the opposite?
Thanks for the collaboration.

It is theoretically possible, but it contravenes Naim's official guidance, as the supercap is designed to power only one component at a time. So, no.

Can't offer an opinion, but If you have both power supplies, why not try them and judge for your self.

However connecting the SuperCap with a Burndy to the Superline should take full advantage of it's regulator circuits.

I could be wrong ,but I think he means either or; not both at the same time.

I used to run my SN2 with my SC and power the Superline from the SN2 and then I tried powering the Superline with the Supercap and it was a huge gain. I would certainly recommend this combo

I don't have a Superline, but I did try my Stageline with a HiCap. At the time I had two HiCaps (pre my S.Cap).

I had both HiCaps on the 282 and powered the Stageline from the powerDIN socket.

I then tried one HiCap on the 282 and the other HiCap powering the Stageline line directly.  This was much more preferable for vinyl and the other sources didn't suffer noticeably from only having one HiCap on the 282.

Hi,
Just hold the two comparisons I mentioned yesterday.
The SC powering SuperNait I got a huge gain especially in digital.
Using vinyl, HiCap powering Superline the smallest difference was not as great as in digital.
On the whole it sounded more balanced in function of the configuration of the equipment.
I think it's a lot of money using the SC powering Supernait (very expensive and disproportionate)
Obviously SC will be better spent on Supeline if your preference is vinyl.
In my mind the ideal would be to use the SC powering both at the same time.

I found the SC2 powering a SN1 was a bit much- intense dynamics but not a smooth , linear performance. Much preferred how the HC2 improved the SN1. A Flatcap can power two items but I found that it did little, imo, for the SN1. My vote would be to SC the SL and max out your source- the SL responds quite well to a Burndy  !
