Please Please Me sounding great on Tidal... Listening through my Little Dot valve headphone amp right now which perhaps suits...
Are these recordings the same as the complete box released some years ago?
Fred
This will be my entertainment via Tidal and my NDX for today!
I don't actually own any Beatles albums so I'm looking forward to giving them a listen in full.

I don't know, the 1 compilation album shows it was remastered 2015, most of the original albums don't show a remastering date that I can see, but show remaster engineers included Guy Massey and Paul Hicks if that helps,
Thanks Simon!
Now it would be good if they they allowed the 24 bit versions to be offered for download via HDTracks, Qobuz etc. They sound so much better than the 16 bit equivalents.
Agreed. Even though they are 24/44 they are some of the best sounding hi res files on my hard drive.
First time ever I listened to Sgt Pepper as an album, and I have to say I am very impressed. If it were made today it would sound different in its recording, but it would be an album that will be the talk of the town for months on end. I'm glad this great music has come to streaming services.
I have been listening to these releases on and off over the last few days, and I agree the quality of these masters are fantastic.. For the first time I can hear all the instrumentarion and timing really easily and allows you to appreciate the musical talent of these four. Further I can hear some counting in some of the tracks.. and the odd squeaky chair/door.. and the effects of the relatively primitive mixing desk and really adds to the atmosphere and appeal..
