Loudspeaker sounds in Right Hand speaker only.

Despite perceived wisdom I did a bit of dusting around my system and as a consequence I can only get a signal from one of my loudspeakers.  There is the slightest of hissing sounds from the Left hand speaker but nothing else.  I have tried wriggling and removing and replacing some leads/interconnects but to no avail.  Where should I be concentrating my efforts?  Any sensible advice would be much appreciated.

Oh, and Merry Christmas to everyone at Naim and Fellow Travelers posting or lurking on the Naim Website.

It is worth powering down and remaking all connections. This may resolve the issue. If not you need to be methodical and isolate one item at a time and power down between changes. So swap the source channels left for right and see if the fault stays on the same side. This is assuming you can do this and it is not on a DIN connection. Also try swapping speakers left for right and again see if the fault moves. You should then be able to identify the fault depending on whether it moves or stays the same following a change.

Cheers for that SB.  I have found that with the Tuner NAT02 that I have sound from both speakers.  Only the CDS3 is causing problems.  Also I have just noticed that the Balance is crackly when using the Remote which it was not a week or so ago.

Problem solved!  The signal lead from the head unit to the power supply has got a loose connection.  Might be an opportune time to look at alternative leads/interconnects.......
