Playing ripped CD 2 of 2 featuring a really excellent twenty five minute rendition of Echoes,.

First play of new vinyl bought in Rockbox this afternoon
BG's second album, 12 tracks, eight of them self-composed. A masterpiece (those songs! That voice!), with three stone-cold Bobbie classics: "Morning Glory", "Okalona River Bottom Band" and the breathtaking "Courtyard".
This is a rather battered US Capitol lime green label first press. Must get a better (UK?) one...

Lady Antebellum "Need You Now"
note - just marveling at the very eclectic choices of listening this day amongst the forum members. I think that is awesome, makes me check out things I might not otherwise consider. Thanks. Jeff A
ps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7vJxXhb7qI is a youTube link to a live song with Lady Antebellum and Stevie Nicks - with apologies to Tony2011 ![]()
Should have posted this here as i do not have a LP player (yet!!)

Misha Alperin: Night
Misha Alperin - piano
Anja Lechner - Cello [Violoncello]
Hans-Kristian Kjos Sorensen - Percussion, Marimba, Voice
On vinyl, bought today: The Future Crayon by Broadcast.

Keith Urban "Fuse"
Keith is more than just a pretty boy/mainstream country star, he plays a pretty mean guitar, as in this YouTube of Keith Urban and James Taylor's backing band playing JT's "Country Road":

I like to get this out every now and again, it was the album that took me down the rabbit hole that was "underground music". I did return but it helped influence all my musical preferences from that year hence. ![]()

Portugal. The Man "Evil Friends"

Fleetwood Mac "Tusk (Deluxe)" disc 4 & 5, multiple venues, June 1980

On vinyl.

Remastered vinyl. Not necessarily "cool" but sounds great.

Last one today - Bandcamp download - very classy, highly recommended

On vinyl. Another from the way back machine.

David Bowie. Changesbowie. On CD from 1990. I just finished watching "The Martian" which features Bowie's "Starman" so I played this expecting to hear the track still stuck in my head. Realized half way through that "Starman" is not on the CD
. Oh well, good listen nonetheless.

The Band. Greatest Hits. On CD from 2000. Nice 18 track compilation. Always a healthy funk and groove to their roots rock sound.

More unjustly neglected Andriessen, in an all-Dutch party.
Cheers,
EJ
During my workout, always nice...

Brendel is on a high level with his Haydn...

Very well played and put together tuneful ambient electronica.
