The first and arguably still his best solo album with echoes of Pink Floyd all around.
Totally agree. Definitely his best.
Must get that album.

I have few Joni albums but this remains my favourite. The title track and Sex Kills are especially good.
Paul Simon - Hearts and Bones
The CD of 'Bonus material' that came with my Digipack CD of The Stones' Some Girls. I've got the original vinyl (obvs.) but the Some Girls era was such a good era, and for me too, that I had to have this recording. Stand out track is Do you think I really care, the type of laconic country rocker they are so good at. Very glad to have this extra music from a great period.

Vinyl is apprently better as the cd was when I heard the pre release badly compressed. Had to give it away as my eardrums were bleeding. Typical modern mastering.
Thanks for the confirmation. Very frustrating...
Excellent reproduction quality of this CD reveals Norah's voice to be properly appreciated. I should play this more often.
Mindy Smith "Long Island Shores"
Grant Lee Buffalo "Mighty Joe Moon"
Now in high res - very enjoyable...

Great Album! Don't see a lot of GLB here.
King Crimson - Thrak [Box Set]
Warren Zevon. Excitable Boy. On original vinyl from 1978. A fantastic album top to bottom. The music, the lyrics, the SQ, the supporting cast - all fantastic.

Don't think he bettered it.

Liked his first but for some reason I kinda went off him after that.

Haven't listened to that particular release recently ( just played Tiny Voices the other day ). Will correct that oversight very soon. Thanks for the prompt.
On vinyl.
