2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

Dire Straits. Communiqué. On original vinyl from 1979.

Dire Straits Live. Alchemy. On 2 LPs from 1984.
Nice when you do spinning drives up the speed, the album as such is ok but not spectacular .....

I continued in my workout with an oldie. While a bit polished still nice to listen to. An interesting version of Yesterday from the Beatles ....

Nice quiet album for breakfast....

Nirvana. With The Lights Out (2004). I'm finishing my foray into this set with the third and final CD. Heavy energetic music predominates though there is a single lighter reprieve with "Jesus Doesn't Want Me for a Sunbeam" - a cover of the Vaselines that also appeared on Nirvana's MTV Unplugged. Wonderful track:
ELO, Out Of The Blue, one of my very first fave albums that got me interested in rock music. Still brilliant. Flac 24/192 via Audirvana/Hugo

Deftones-White Pony
I've been slowly buying all the albums on the rather wonderful Vivat label, which is run by Robert King, leader of the King's Consort. This is the only one I didn't have, until yesterday, and like all the others it's excellent - beautifully sung and played.

Original vinyl... great album and a bargain of the moment on the River for just over a tenner plus P&P.

The joy of Tidal - Saw your recommendation and thought 'I fancy that'...So it's added to my library for the weekend.

Sounding wonderful and despite the plaudits and prowess of Argus this is probably still my favourite WA album.

Indeed!
For me, makes the monthly subscription an easy spend.
Hope you enjoy it................imho...........go straight to last track, as suggested..........bit of a taster for the rest of the album.
Unfortunately, my post should have read "was", rather than "is", since, sadly, Michael is longer with us. ![]()
