Seems like hardly anyone around here listens to Roland Hanna. An outstanding album.

Bob Dylan. House Of The Risin' Sun. A 2013 DMM vinyl re-issue of Dylan's first album plus the single "Mixed Up Confusion". I like it. An immediate SQ that captures the essence and energy of the recordings.

Donovan. The Hurdy Gurdy Man. An original stereo pressing from 1968. The song writing for this album came before, during and after a famed sojourn in Rishikesh.

Creedence Clearwater Revival. Willy And The Poor Boys. On original vinyl from 1969. One of three legendary albums the band released that year.

The Best Of The James Gang Featuring Joe Walsh. On vinyl from 1973. Recent buy. Lord knows I don't need another Joe Walsh/James Gang related compilation, but sometimes it's hard to say no to a 40+ year-old LP that's still looks shiny and new.

Tom Petty. Playback (1995). Finishing off this box set that I started last night. Disc 5 opens with a song written by keyboardist Benmont Tench that has Petty singing like Dylan and the band playing like Elvis Costello and The Attractions. Worth a listen:

I like this,  I've always found "Grace" quite heavy going but played this all the way through first time.  Tidal.

Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, Cold Roses.

Double CD (not a fat-boy though ).  Great rock/country blend - much more to the rock side.  One of his best.  CD rip
