I envy your original vinyl Tony, I used to have the same until my  entire vinyl collection was stolen while in transit on British Rail in '73.

Sorry to hear about it, Steve. That really sucks. You're welcome to borrow my copy anytime you like.

I always have to skip Blinded by the Light, though.

On vinyl, as requested by my wife.  Forgotten what a brilliant recording this is.

Sonic Youth, Dirty.  Not a band I know well but just saw them in a programme o BBC 4 playing Sygar Cane and thought I'd have a listen, glad I did - quite grungy and interessting, so far I like it.  Qobuz, which is brilliant for checking groups out like this, via Audirvana/Hugo

Blondie, Parallel Lines, the first LP I ever bought and well worth a few weeks spend.  Hard to believe how much influence groups like this had back in the day.  Flac via audiirvana/Hugo

Jeff, I had this on vinyl back in the late 80's (long gone).  Giving it a rerun now via Tidal prompted by your post.  Very listenable album.

One of the first five compact discs I ever bought.  Listenable indeed.  Take care, Jeff A

Neil Young & Crazy Horse. On CD from 1994. First listen. Primarily a somber, downcast Crazy Horse sound, the album's title an homage to Kurt Cobain who shot himself during the recording of this album and alluded to NY in his suicide note. Despite all that gravity, it's a pretty good album.
