Adrian, it is very good for a solo guitar, but I prefer the performance with his small ensemble on "Nomad".

Probably my favourite SS album, his guitar playing, great lyrics and subject matter aligned with the super arrangements and integration of more horns into his second album works really well for me.

Bought this a few weeks ago on the basis of a recommendation by NigelB, if I remember correctly, but only just got around to giving it as play. Gosh, it's lovely.

Boz Scaggs "Memphis"

Can't remember who recommended this on here, but it is lovely. Thanks.

This is a really enjoyable double CD in a "best of" sort of way, playing the Chicago half to start with.
