2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

Sometimes Van leaves me speechless.

Finally got around to giving this a listen. I like Van Morrison but he has such a huge catalog it is difficult sometimes to know where to look so I was delighted to see this one recommended.
SJB, you are absolutely right this one is a stunner. I am only on track 13 of 30 and each track so far has grabbed my attention for one reason or another, Van's singing (he uses some different styles on this one), harmonica playing, lyrics or just the synergy of the band and their music-making talents. This is Van at his bluesy, soulful best!
Love it and looking forward to the next 17 tracks. That's what I call value for money!
Another one of his worth digging out is It's Too Late to Stop Now - Live. SJB, this of course may have been one of your recommendations.

Thanks for the tip, I had the album as part of a collection. Indeed this version of time after time is also special. While I still find the original one on the You are under arrest album cult....
