I sometimes have the feeling that Barenboim is too much in the front. I was listening this morning to the set of Anne-Sophie Mutter and have the feeling it's more delicate....., but haven't excuted an A-B comparison.

My first listen to this one recommended by Gary Shaw and straight off the bat it really hits the late 60's -70's psychedelic spot, fantastic.

This is simply incredible. Whatever you think of the gospel subject matter, the recording, the harmonies and the fabulous Telecaster noises on this album are unreal. Absolute wow!

Not heard this before - very nice indeed ! Via Tidal.

"The 8-track album features a worldly mix of back-porch blues and electro-Americana goodness"  - exactly .  Great recommendation.

Blondie, Parallel Lines.  If you are anywhere near the same age as me there is a good chance that Miss Harry had a big impact on your teenage years.  Her music was pretty good too and this is one of the first albums I can remember buying.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo
