Blondie, Parallel Lines.  If you are anywhere near the same age as me there is a good chance that Miss Harry had a big impact on your teenage years.  Her music was pretty good too and this is one of the first albums I can remember buying.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Can't think what you mean, dayjay.  I can only remember the Blondie music.

She certainly rocked Mike, I liked her videos even with the sound off  but I did like her music too.  I'm sure there are modern equivalents but I do sometimes feel sorry for my kids as they seem to be lacking the icons we had, of both genders, back in the day.  My 12 year old son and I were wondering which of today's stars would still be played in 20 years time; after Adele and possibly Ed Sheeran we were struggling to think of many.

An album I listen to regularly - well produced with catchy hooks and beautiful melodies.

About a year before both Phil Collins and their switch to the Charisma label. More psychedelic and psych-pop than the albums that were to follow but still very recognisable as Genesis driven by Peter Gabriel.
