My favourite Mahavishnu Orchestra album.

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pronounced Lynyrd Skynyrd, because it is one of the all time great debut albums and boogies for England. DSD via Audirvana/Hugo

More from Mahavishnu John McLaughlin. This time with a little help from Devadip Carlos Santana:

Can't think what you mean, dayjay. I can only remember the Blondie music. ![]()

She certainly rocked Mike, I liked her videos even with the sound off
but I did like her music too. I'm sure there are modern equivalents but I do sometimes feel sorry for my kids as they seem to be lacking the icons we had, of both genders, back in the day. My 12 year old son and I were wondering which of today's stars would still be played in 20 years time; after Adele and possibly Ed Sheeran we were struggling to think of many.

Argh! No need, made me feel even older!
An album I listen to regularly - well produced with catchy hooks and beautiful melodies.

About a year before both Phil Collins and their switch to the Charisma label. More psychedelic and psych-pop than the albums that were to follow but still very recognisable as Genesis driven by Peter Gabriel.
