The Eagles - Hell Frrzes Over streaming from HDX, would have liked to hear a vinyl version of this.

1972 - Original vinyl. This is a great album but it would be even better to have it on CD to skip certain tracks when that screaming Kow comes along. Experimental my ar5e!

What are you on about Tony? The bits with Yoko are some of the best bits. That awesome version of "Don't Worry Kyoko" is pure primal rock 'n' roll.

Kev, I would rather listen to a Phil Collins album, on a loop, and eat a Vindaloo with grated toenail, than listen to that woman screaming.

Actually, it is a close call!

A fascinating-energetic dialogue, dancing back and forth between Russian Preludes & Fugues by Schedrin and Shostakovitch.

The wonderful Nerina Pallot and Fires.  One of my fave artists and albums played because I will be watching her live in Manchester on Thursday and I'm very excited!   Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Back to the Dylan fix - this time Desire on MOFI at 45 rpm. Not my favourite Dylan album but blood on the tracks was a hard album to follow!

Tony's gotten me started, and now I can't stop. Another Yoko masterwork, on mid 1990s Ryko CD:

Jeff - I have this MOFI 45rpm double as well. Do you find that the first side ("Hurricane" especially) seems a bit slow?

Nerina Pallot, Year of the Wolf.  Another excellent album and well worth a listen.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Kevin - Interesting you think that because I have thought the same, but thought it might just be that I am hearing so much more than on the original vinyl I have, which apart from Dylan and the lead instruments just seems confusing. Might try comparing when I have some time. Think overall the MOFI 45 rpm releases are very good, just wish they could release BOTT and Infidels!

I could listen to this song (almost) endlessly.  Not too keen on this particular live version though.  Tidal.

Silly boy.  You know you're going o regret this later on , don't you?

Listen to some Phil Collins instead. It does the same thing but with less side effects. You can also try some Brian Adams . Just don't blame it on me!

Last album of the weekend and the rather beautiful and talented Kate Bush with the Whole Story, which is a damned good greatest hits album.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Love Old Crow Medicine Show. They used to stay with a friend of mine when touring through the area before they made it.

I keep coming back to these sonatas for two violins of the great French violinist. :coeur:
Great interpretation of Monica Waisman and Florian Deuter. :)
Uploaded from the Buz in WAV 16/44. Very good definition, close recording but still quite airy. Nice timbres.:]
