Thanks Jeff. Definitely one to investigate. RC's 'Fate's Right Hand' gets some heavy rotation here. Do you have his 'Cicadas' (band) album?
More lovely stuff from a talented song-smith.
John.
Try 'Houston Kid' as well. His 'return to action' record. The first of the trilogy along with 'Fates Right Hand' and 'The Outsider' Mind you, 'Sex and Gasoline' is pretty enjoyable too! I am a fan as you can tell.
A very enjoyable listening experience...

Sounding mighty fine ripped from an original '89 Geffen label CD.
David Bowie - Let's dance on original vinyl.
It's been years since I listened to it. Not my preferred album but reminds me a lot from my early 20's

Arguing with myself if I should or shouldn't get the high res version of this one....
in the meanwhile enjoying it in CD quality..

Haven't found that one. Do you the Complete Night at..., or am I missing something as that's the only one I found in high res...

You should get his very first album as that ranks among the best of any album he released.

I wish I could tell you but I am sworn to not giving a review on the disc as it isn't coming out until late May. I have some trax from the same sessions that are not on this album and they are ok but not startling.
There are samples on the following link Tony which will give you a flavour of the album.

There is also one track up on youtube.
