He makes a very fine job of this tribute to his boyhood hero.
Botox-tastic! What has he done to his face?
I'm sure it must be the airbrush at work...at least I hope so, if not then I'll have some of what George is on please!

Thanks for the thumbs up a little while ago, Adrian.

Their first proper full length album, playing The Carrier EP by them earlier left me wanting for more.
I'm not a huge Prince fan, but I do really love this record, which is far, far better than the bloated and overrated Sign O The Times. UK first press vinyl.

I current listen to it. Very lovely sound. Each track on the EP is wonderfully...
Another Bill for today...

Tidal HF - 1966 - Must track down an original copy on vinyl!
During the day I listened twice to this one at work, this is still a great album...

UK first press vinyl. Fcuk me, the second side is good. Brilliant, grungy rock 'n' roll.

This was another fine Wolf People album, it will be interesting to hear how they go from here with their next one, whenever that may be.
"Recorded in a beautiful and isolated house in the Yorkshire dales, Fain is the sound of a band at the peak of their creative powers. It’s an honest and natural album that allows its stories, its melodies, its themes and structures to breathe. The album draws on more traditional English and Scottish folk melodies than anything they’ve done before, but not straying from the drop-out fuzz-rock route they’ve made their own, the influences are vast – British rock bands like Groundhogs, Dark, Mighty Baby and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac are evident in the swirling and distorted guitars throughout fain, along with the 60s revival."
Pat Metheny - Day Trip. Got lots of Mr Metheny but never heard this one. Tidal. Quite like it - bit noodly in places but enjoyable nonetheless.

UK vinyl. Didn't get great reviews at the time but has aged better than a lot of his stuff. His most underrated album?

His best solo album, powerful and poignant deep in the subject matter and themes of WW I.

Tidal HF - 2014 - Just the voice and a piano.

On vinyl. Prince- Sign O' the Times. Been awhile since I gave it a listen. RIP.

Agreed Steve, a modern classic. Great tour off the back of it too
Introspective piano with some electronica & drums. Tidal.

Bow wow wow, Go Wild in the Country. Just watched the Bodyguard with my son and in the mood for some 80s music. Tidal via Audirvana/Hugo

Best Of ZZ Top. On vinyl from 1977. Because I watched a couple of episodes of "Gruden's QB Camp" today.

Foghat. Fool For The City (1975). On MFSL vinyl from 2008. Fitting Friday night music.
