Am now stuck on old telly themes, I can tell. Here's a marvellous double CD with some splendid music (by the likes of Edwin Astley, Ron Grainer, John Barry, Tony Hatch et al) 1960s and '70s shows such as Department S, The Persuaders, The Protectors, The Champions, The (Return of) Saint, Jason King, Randall & Hopkirk, The Prisoner, Zoo Gang, Randall & Hopkirk etc...

As the snow continues to fall here, on with this one as a change of direction. Playing side one ripped from disc 1 of 2, disc 2 was a live recording added to make this deluxe version in 2010.

Quite different from what I have heard from him so far, 1st run - so no conclusions so far....

I love Charles Lloyd, and have many of his albums.  I also enjoyed this collaboration with Bill Frisell a lot, and recently watched them perform live from Lincoln Center.

+1 Been playing this quite a lot recently.  I struggled with this one though - too abstract for me.
