You're playing some great classics of all genres Kevin, this recording cleaning lark seems to be working wonders.

Appliance are one of my favourite belated finds from a couple of years ago. Cool sounding electronic krautrock and Berlin School styles.
On CD:-

Because a track popped up the car earlier and it's been a while .. CD rip.

Track-"Whatever Happens" seems to fit my mood this eve.
Time for wine & relax!

Another good little thirty minute album from these boys, playing for all the krautrock reasons I played Manual earlier.

The Cairo Gang "The Corner Man" 2012 release.
This is an excellent album. It contains lush, full arrangements that span from tentative and intimate ballads, to searing guitar and deep pocket drumming - For some reason it reminds me of Nick Drake.
Vinyl.

My first listen to this one coming up. It has been well recommended by Gary Shaw and I hope it will live up to the promotional blurb.
"This offers a superb dose of powerful electronic music cut with lavish loyalty in the Berlin School style.
Stately synthesizers generate elegant passages of dreamy substance. The electronics shimmer with chill-out predilection, slowbuilding structures of sound that spiral into dizzying heights as they cast off ingenious riffs and cosmic textures. Each passage leads to a higher level, further ecstatic sonic plateaus that reveal even loftier altitudes ahead. Hints of synthesised cello and violin often overtake the liquid keyboard pastiche, attributing somber flavors to the heavenly ascent."

2004 - CD - WAV.
Great interpretations of Elliot Smith and Leonard Cohen's songs.

Indeed, Kev. Hank's Weary Blues is also a superb song. It is a great album down to the last track.
