2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Great album.

Bruce Springsteen. Wrecking Ball. On CD from 2012. A great album and one I've come to appreciate even more after hearing its successor "High Hopes". Looking forward to his next offering.

My favourite Airbag album. Always takes me somewhere special, love it.
Only discovered them at the Naim demo at this years Bristol show. Love the album. Great choice

Bruce Springsteen. Born To Run. On a very early vinyl pressing from 1975. Bruce's breakout and an album brimming with passion and musical drive.

Fabulous band and I am always surprised that I don't see more of their albums on here. They are one brilliant live outfit.

JJ Grey and Mofro Live from their 2015 tour official recording.
Prompted by Badlands and his post.
Started off the evening with an album I haven't listened to in a while: Jerry Garcia Band - Bay Area 1978.

Now a first listen from the ever expanding pile... Bob Dylan/The Band - Before The Flood
2014 two Hybrid SACD release of 1974 release.
Good energy. Needed at this time in the morning.
This was my last album yesterday, I can almost listen always to this album...

1st piece of the morning, beautiful piece of music while not so much a typical piano concert in my eyes...

Excellent Berlin School ambient electronic music, downloaded last night and listening now to the full fat version, superb.

Enjoying this one via Tidal this morning - another good recommendation Bert - thanks.
Interesting new guys - via Tidal...

Soen, Cognitive.
Great first album from a bunch of very talented Guys, Hard and Fast to wonderful vocals, an interesting take on Prog.

On vinyl...

1992, CD
Felt like something mellow before heading into the office.
I am really enjoying this. A really good album mastered by Mr Grundman.

My favourite 'Trane album. You're right Bert, endlessly listenable.

This has an absolutely killer version of "Sounds of Silence". The rest of the album is totally different - grungy heavy rock. Compressed recording, as are most modern albums these days. Still, I'm enjoying it.
Not played this for a couple of weeks after having it on heavy rotation (been on a buying spree so making my way through new purchases)
I'd forgotten just how good an album this is.
Divine ....

Only 12 minutes, but nevertheless enjoyable ....

Haven't loaded any new music into iTunes in a long time. So getting to hear some older albums hiding in the shadows on my iPod Classic.

Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes (2008)
CD ripped to AIFF. A good listen for today's mood.
Metallica, Master Of Puppets.
Time to Thrash it out!!
