And now, for something completely different..........."The Race".........at full blast!
Love that song. The sound-staging is wonderful, almost holographic

And the SL loom makes it sing like never before!
Note to self..........last mention of SL. ![]()

1972 - not their finest but still very enjoyable.

Perfect late night restful music finished off with The Watson Twins' version of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" from the True Blood soundtrack album.
Just Finished:
Tift Merritt - Travelling Alone
Now:
Lindi Ortega - Faded Gloryville

Time to calm things down. ![]()
Streaming from Naim rip.
Well this is a bit different, I would describe it as enigmatic.

Airbag, The Greatest Show On Earth.
Their latest album "Disconnected" is out in June and I can't wait.

Rush, Hold Your Fire, because I haven't listened to it for a while and it brings back lots of memories. Some great base playing on this album too. 24 bit Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Can't find a Liverpool date, though the Blues Explosion tour is visiting both Preston and Newark in June, for those of us "oop North"!
Give me a shout, though, if you do find that Liverpool one. ![]()
Dave.

Last nights listening.

First up this morning.

This is for the office today and when I am out and about.

Warren Zevon. Sentimental Hygiene. On vinyl from 1987. Another great album from an artist that possessed a unique gift for simultaneous lyrical darkness and levity presented through varied musical moods.
Followed, on a Tidal...

UK first pressing. Perhaps my favourite NY album?
Possible favorite for me as well, but so bloody many NY albums to choose from. Great contrast on the two sides between Neil's acoustic and heavy metal prowess. In that regard "Thrasher" on side one is among my favorite acoustic tracks while "Powderfinger" on side two is among my favorite metal.

Warren Zevon. Stand In The Fire. On vinyl from 1980. A live album with some great performances and some less so. Either way, lots of energy to be found.
