2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;
Steaming Radio Paradise - excellent !

This includes Gubaidulina's piano sonata (an early, improvisational work) and two much more recent works for unusual forces, including guitars and double bass. Distinctive, attractive works and stunningly performed.

Beth Orton - "Sugaring Season" - haven't listened to this in a little while, prompted by exchanges with Ewen earlier. A very talented lady.

Excellent Music...CD
Yep, a nice album sticking it in my playlist for a sunny day. ![]()
I've not played this for a very long time. A superb debut album.

Borders Nick posted:Bandcamp download - following Stevee's earlier recommendation. Atmospheric layered guitar music - very listenable whilst relaxing after running.
Glad you are enjoying it Nick, all four of their albums can be had for a heavily discounted total of €3 at the moment, the other albums are similar in style and very enjoyable too.

wav stream. Very good.

Cheers

24/96 wav. Another favourite of mine.

Just listened to all 3 CDs in a row. Have vinyl copy so may try that soon. Wanted to save my 1957 mono version from any more plays.

Catherine MacLellan - "Water In The Ground"
2nd run of the day, it's nice relaxing music...

Really in the mood for this...
1994 - Original vinyl...
Neil Young and BlueNote Cafe on vinyl - second time listened to it right through and enjoying much more this time, some amazing bass lines! Perhaps helps that listened to 'This Notes For You' last weekend
