First listen.
Featuring Ethan Jodziewicz (bass)
Quite the list of contributors. Produced by Bela Fleck. Appearances by Abigail Washburn, Alison Krauss, Bela Fleck, & Rhiannon Giddens.
A lovely album album from an artist who is new to me.
Thanks for the recommendation.
INXS, Kick, on original vinyl. The odd crackle but bloody hell it sounds good, ironically with plenty of kick! Could be a long night this!

"Wristband", from the new Paul Simon album..................seriously funky.
Not a huge Paul Simon fan, but this taster is great!
The whole album isn't yet available on Tidal, but, hopefully, that'll be put right soon.

1977 - Original vinyl...

SeƱor Cooder, like good wine, just gets better with age! ![]()

I don't think this man ever made a bad track let alone a bad album. Sounding lovely from an early original unmolested CD.

1971 - Original vinyl...
Thanks Ewemon for this great recommendation.
Can't stop listening to it.....................stunning!

A little more from a few years later.

1983 - Original vinyl... Never been a major fan of this band(name always put me off, for starters) but most tracks from this live(ish) album kind of make it listenable. Nightporter(live) is a good example.

Lucius - "Good Grief"
SFX with the late Alan Murphy

Also Julian Vereker on the mastering

It's rather super

Suzanne Vega - "Close-up Volume 2, People and Places"
That box-set is astonishing from start to finish. One of my most treasured recent purchases.
Yep, Winky. I love mine too.

Because I haven't played any Family for what feels like ages.

Jose Gonzalez - "Vestiges and Claws"

It was one of my most played albums last year.
Rush, Hemispheres, original vinyl. Sounds just like I remember it but I think the 24 bit version is better sq tbh

Eric does Robert Johnson (again), with an all star support band............more or less "live takes" with virtually no overdubs, this has a spontaneous feel.
Oh, and the accompanying DVD isn't half bad either.

Some more blues being played in Dublin....

Muddy. Rory and a few others.
