2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Serious jamming...
1972 - US original vinyl...
I must give this a try sometime soon...
It is just a few guys messing around in the studio, Steve. I love Hopkins's(R.I.P) keyboard. Short but great fun.
Thanks Tony, I've found it on Tidal and slipped it into my music to try list

Looking for it on Tidal but I can't find it.
I typed "Jamming with Edward" into the search and it shows up.
Still nothing on my end.

Double checked and its working fine here in the UK, I wonder if its unavailable in other countries?

Andrew Bird - Are You Serious?

(2016) CD In regular rotation since I got it the end of April
Now: Hot Chip - Why Make Sense?

(2015) CD The band did several album covers for this release. Radio interview I heard focused on this release as an LP, the band reminiscing on their vinyl youth. Which led to using different colors for the album art. Overall, was an interesting interview. First heard them on local radio, WKNC. Haven't given the album as much attention as I should, but i do enjoy it.

That may be it. I'm in the US. Anyone in the US able to see it on Tidal?

Enjoying a bit of Tori while I'm cooking dinner.

Vinyl
Saw them live last night, so . . . .

How on earth do you describe this timeless classic from Stevie W? I defy anyone to be able to resist moving some part of their body in time to his music.
i agree...
often played in this house, but the vinyl version of course. in fact, i used the track "Love is in need..." as test track when i was trying to choose between Kandid, DV TKR, and Kiseki Blue. The DV won the day.

(2016) CD God Don't Never Change: The Songs of Blind Willie Johnson First listen.

(2015 release) CD First listen.

Traffic When the Eagle Flies.
Rainbow, Long Live Rock and Roll, on vinyl as the great vinyl test programme continues, this one, I'm pleased to say, remains in good condition, which is good news because it's an excellent album
Another run of this one....

Dylan and The Band - Before The Flood - still one of my favourite live albums. My first recording of this was off Radio 1 on my dads Prinzssound radio cassette - think I nearly wore that tape out before I was able to buy!
This really is excellent. The 458 'Hunt' is particularly good, and being in 192k the sound is just lovely.

10cc, The Original Soundtrack, because I feel like something completely different. Flac via Audirvana/Hugo
Eleanor McEvoy - Alone - some good songs, and a nice voice. Very simply put together - nice late evening music, with the lights out.
Last album for tonight, Suzanne Vega, Close Up Vol 1, Love Songs. These are beautifully recorded and perfect for late night listening. Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

On 10" vinyl LP.
Some great instrumentals on this album. Just an excellent listen. Very good sound also.

one the vinyls played tonite -- great album -- and sounding fantastic too!
