Final one in the first batch of the 2016 vinyl Floyds. This remaster is a bit of a curate's egg. For me, the live album of Ummagumma was the most exciting thing they ever did. It's not as thrilling, as presented here. Just a bit too laid back, certainly compared to the memory I have of my 1970s UK and Japanese LPs. That said, parts of the studio album are really good ("The Grand Vizer's Garden Party" especially). Overall though, I think this is the most disappointing of the four.
Some however, will like it - it's a matter of whether it suits your taste in presentation rather than a Mothership-style cock-up. It'll be interesting to hear the next batch.

Great version of Neil Youngs " only love can break your heart " .

good album...

As if an excuse was needed to listen to more, I've abandoned work outside for the rest of today as the thunder rain and lightning storm rolls through. Various kit unplugged so listening via MBP > Audirvana Plus > Dragonfly DAC and Jitterbug into IEMS.

Prompted by an earlier post,

Prog' rock but this one from Camel has a more commercial main stream sound to it.

Arguably their finest album and a nice one to come back to every now and then.

Stevie Live in '78 taken directly from the Sbd and in better quality than the boot that is out there.
First solo gig after he left Traffic.
Another run for this one on Tidal - like it very much so far.
