Speaking of which .. I remember seeing these guys supported by Squeeze at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh in 1978...

Final fling in my 80's session................brilliant first album.

After a long afternoon listening to the excellent Radio Paradise whilst grinding through some personal admin' and paperwork and making note of 10 albums of great interest. This band popped out as a bit of a blast so giving it the full listen to side one.

It's queued up now on the Tidal thingy...................good shout Nick.
On CD:-

Chicago - 13

An amazingly vital performance of the Schubert Fantasie starts this disc - one of the best I've ever listened to. The other big work is the 'Grand Duo' sonata, an altogether sunnier work but still one of Schubert's best, yet seldom heard. How these young pianists approach this music, and their technical ability, borders on the unbelievable, and is topped by a close recording that captures the Steinway grand to perfection.
Cheers,
EJ

Oh, go on then.

1968 - original US vinyl...

5.1 mix Far better than the cd.

Bob Dylan - "The Cutting Edge 1965 - 1966, The Bootleg Series, Vol. 12" (sampler) (2015)

Always very pleasant and relaxing ......

1971 - UK original vinyl...
Robin Trower - Bridge Of Sighs. (Vinyl)

Out on the 17th June.
The journey continues with again Jamal...

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - "Damn The Torpedoes" (1979)
