The Beatles. Abbey Road (1969). On CD from 1987. More listening to my original issue Beatles CDs. Quite the swansong. Still get that big "amen" feeling at the end.
Still their best album in my view.

Ronnie Montrose - Open Fire (Vinyl), excellent instrumental album from one of THE great guitarists.
This track reminds me of Parisian Walkways, not he song but the feel.

John Hiatt - "The Open Road" (2010) with excellent guitar by Doug Lancio
Marillion, Clutching at Straws,I'm rather hoping Fish is going to play this live in the next twelve months because it's brilliant. Original vinyl

5.1 mix Far better than the cd.
I found the vinyl substantially better than the CD as well.

Playing disc 2 which encompasses most of Pretzel Logic 1974 and Katy Lied 1975, a very pleasant way to kick start the day on this damp morning.

1970 - US original vinyl. Early Gary Moore.

Nadia Reid - "Listen To Formation, Look For The Signs"

Career revival with the E-Street band in attendance...........good stuff.

On clear vinyl...
Been fiddling with set up this morning and was perusing my shelves for a variety of test records
I found I had somehow accumulated four versions of this!

One original, one later which must have come my way from someone else as it's in terrible nick, a half speed mastered version (which actually sounds a bit flat) and a 2010 re-issue which is the pick of them all.
Hey ho

Bloodkin - "Baby, They Told Us We Would Rise Again" (2009)
