Winky,

Were you referring to the cover art?

Buddy Holly. The Definitive Collection. On CD from 2006. Twenty-six tracks and everyone gets my toe tappin'. I know of only a couple album covers that feature Buddy without his signature glasses. This one and his solo debut.

Spin Doctors. You've Got To Believe In Something. On CD from 1996. Possibly two decades since I listened to this one. No doubt the band had a good groove going with some blues effusion to be appreciated.

Sampled it online. Not for me but I won't dispute others affection as it's artistic music and I like the cover art. I see a face in there somehow.

I've always struggled to find a decent sounding copy of this album, never tried hdcd.  How does it sound in comparison to cd/vinyl?

Good to find this band again on Tidal, I remember being blown away when I heard this when it was first released here.

On surprisingly thin vinyl.

Doesn't sound thin though...

Heron Oblivion - Live Video on WFMU

This is simply 40-odd minutes of magic - those vocals plus two guitarists giving it the complete works (try scooting to the 15:20 minute mark for one prime example), but it's all just wonderful.

Wish I knew how to embed a Vimeo video here though...

Live prog' at its finest. This mammoth 3 hour 35 minute concert from the Royal Festival Hall has at its centre Rick Wakeman who is aided and abetted by both the LSO and the English Chamber Choir, narration by David Hemmings. I don't think I'll be able to take all in one sitting but you never know!

Are you sticking with the upsampling Steve?  Why 64 and not 128 DSD?

Yes I  have been upsampling at various setting since I got it cranked up a few days ago. Using 64 because I'm not offered the higher option (its greyed out). Liking the upsampling a great deal I don't think there will be any going back although that is only a click away if wanted/needed.
