Kings of Leon, Only by the Night, quite probably my favourite KOL album and full of great songs.  Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

On vinyl.  Mono six eye Columbia pressing.  I think I picked it up for around $3 in a thrift store about 20 years ago.

The Fireman. Electric Arguments. On CD from 2008. Possibly McCartney's most creatively diverse and inspiring album. All his talents for song development, production, vocal diversity, and ability to perform as a one-man studio band presented with an overall ethereal, electronica motif.

During the workout, called post rock....., I don't get these labels nowadays..., but anyhow nice guitar based music from Bandcamp. Definitely worth a try for others as well...

Nicely recorded and beautifully played in St. Andrew's Church Toddington, a gentle start to the day.

Great music and nicely produced too. Really enjoying this.

Marillion, Script for a Jesters Tear.  Their first album from 83 and a pretty good debut album it was too. Still enjoyable to listen to now.  Original vinyl

REO Speedwagon, Hi Infidelity, a 1980 release that contains some decent songs and two great songs; Take It On the Run, and Keep On Loving You.  Original vinyl

I fancied a bit of a blast and the raw energy on this one is doing the trick very loudly.

Dire Straits. Making Movies, not my favourite album by them tbh, always felt side one started brilliantly with Tunnel of Love and Romeo and Juliet and that the whole album then fizzled out with only Solid Rock decent on Side 2.  Original vinyl
