2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

The Best Of The Guess Who (1971). On the RCA/Legacy CD from 2006. Take away all my compilations and let me keep only one, this would be the album I'd choose. Creative, energetic rock with fantastic recording quality. The vinyl is nice, but this CD has a good measure of inky blackness to be reckoned with.
1st real run...

Getting myself through the suites today, interesting music...

The 3rd one...

The Complete Motown Singles Vol 6 1966
And just did the 4th one....

This is a pleasant jaunt through some of her old singles, hits and other older standards. She is one of those artists who have a one of a kind voice.

Around lunch time 1st run....
Will need more runs to appreciate this one....

This is a good album, nothing exciting..., but just simple and good....

Zero7 made a lot of good music for a while and this is something to relax with while I'm taking a break, very pleasant indeed.

Been playing it in the car all day.

2011 - Original vinyl...

Kenny Drew - Undercurrent, hard bop perfection on Music Matters 331/3 rpm LP perfect re-master.

Underated PF album, well recorded. Listening via my 272 from latest CD 2011 remaster
Replaced my old worn out LP, with a new vinyl copy . . . .

1985 - Original vinyl... Spoilt Victorian Child was the very first track I heard from this album back in 1985 and It just fits perfectly well with the current political elite and situation.
