Wav cd rip one of my Favourite Grateful Dead Live 3 disc sets

More than enough blues for one evening......................Happy Time!

Some early Suzanne Vega and still delightful.
If the last one was happy, then this is completely bonkers. ![]()
He's originally a London busker, and this debut album covers all the bases...............Hendrix, Seasick Steve, it's all here.
Is it soul, is it rap?.................who cares?
Great music from a veteran, which always puts a smile on my face.
Last one for this evening. ![]()

Dire Straits. Communiqué. On original vinyl from 1979. A very good album that passed me by in my teens. Happy to have discovered it anew during my vinyl revival.

Seems appropriate tonight : /
Debs

Jimi Hendrix. Cry Of Love (1971). On remastered vinyl from 2014.

Grateful Dead w/ Duane Allman ☮ It Hurts Me Too, 1971

Paul Simon. Stranger To Stranger. On vinyl from a few weeks ago. Finally a first listen. Great music and lyrics from a master songsmith. I was disappointed with the excessive compression on bass and bass drum on several tracks including "The Werewolf". Should have gotten the CD instead so I could enjoy it on the boombox in my garage or in my car where I can turn down the bass.

Lovely ethereal electronic music to greet the day with. This was the final part of his ethereal trilogy started in 2001 with Far Away Trains Passing By then A Strangely Isolated Place in 2003.

Foxboro Hot Tubs. Stop Drop And Roll. On CD from 2008. Some wake me up music before I go to bed.
Anyone heard of them?
Quite good on first run..

Breakfast on R3, presented by Elizabeth Alker. Hers is a fresh voice to me and I like her enthusiastic style. Also her choice of music, especially when compared with, say, Martin Handley's, always assuming that the choice of music is that of the presenter's.

+ 1 Bert. Gave this a run yesterday on Tidal prompted by a review in The Guardian - not my usual thing but very enjoyable. Been playing it again this morning.

Great album, while perhaps not so experimental...
