Rest in peace Alan!

London Grammar - "If You Wait" (2014)

Joe Henry - "Scar" (2001)

A while since I've played this. My favourite TYA album. It's old but still good.

For no good reason other than I haven't played it for a week or so (and I rather like it ).

Typical soundtrack, but beautiful...
The Decemberists - What a terrible world, What a beautiful world
Melodic and haunting, Carolina Low especially.

Dave Mathews Band Live In Rio - streaming from HDX. fond memories of concerts in Rio, and the lively crowds at Hock in Hio as the locals pronounce it. Mathews Portuguese is worse than mine, but suppose I was there 4 years. Excellent music.

Great album Christopher - for me it didn't quite reach the giddy heights of

but here's hoping for their next one (at some point).
Absolutely Nick. I only wish I had The King is Dead on vinyl.
Now John Martyn - Grace and Danger on vinyl. Sublime. I don't think we had CD players in 1980.

I'll join you with more from Mr Martyn.

Paul Simon. Graceland. On original CD from 1986. One of those albums whose magical music always leaves me in a great mood.

The Doobie Brothers. Toulouse Street. On vinyl from 1972.

Al Stewart. Time Passages. On original vinyl from 1978. Don't seem to play this one often but always glad when I do.

Van Morrison. Beautiful Vision. On original vinyl from 1982. Seems there's been numerous posts here lately of the Belfast Cowboy's music. Thought I'd join in. There's a nice timeless quality to this album.

Bruce Springsteen. Darkness On The Edge Of Town. On original vinyl from 1978. Very impassioned music and still my favorite album from The Boss.

(2005)
Good album to remember Piotr Grudzinski by, his David Gilmour influenced style of play was always a strong feature central to Riverside's style, he is going to be very hard to replace. Three live tracks on this album in addition to what were five new ones at the time.
Had a long workout and really enjoyed this one. It's as good as the other one which a lot on the forum regularly have posted on..

Now listening to this during breakfast, nice...
