1968 Fontana UK pressing. A new purchase.

Been listening to this a lot lately. Great sounding boot (once I'd edited out the dropouts at the start of each track). Thankfully short on VM's name checking all the band members a la "A Night in San Francisco". A few equipment buzzes and mic knocks confirm that this FM sourced recording hasn't been sanitised.

UK first press mono on Philips. A bit crackly in parts, bust still sounds glorious - and often quite different from the stereo version. Scott is god.

I've had this Oleta Adams album for a very long time and used to use it to evaluate new bits of kit. That would normally be a recipe to become bored with it but somehow I'm always uplifted every time I hear the opening song and end up running through the whole album very happily.

Original UK Epic pressing with orange labels and this glorious gatefold. As Bazza Norman would say, "And why not?"

Indeed. And the lovely Agnetha. Sigh.

One of Tori's gentler albums before cooking dinner.
