What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XII)

2016 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread (and links to previous years) can be found here;

Steve Winwood. Arc Of A Diver. On original vinyl from 1980. Winwood was heavily involved in the making of this album. He is the lone vocalist, plays all the instruments, co-wrote all songs, was producer, and recording engineer. He did however outsource the cover art.

George Harrison. Thirty-three & 1/3. On original vinyl from 1976. To me George's albums have gotten better with time. This one's almost 40 years old.

Eagles. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975. On original vinyl from 1976. Easy listening California rock at its finest. I'd guess most any American that ever owned a TT had a well-worn copy of this classic.

Fleetwood Mac. Tusk. On original vinyl from 1979. I'll say with no sacrilege intended towards the Fab Four that this is Fleetwood Mac's equivalent to The White Album. Some experimental tracks, some 'solo' tracks, some 'unfinished' tracks, discontent within the band, drug use, and perhaps sprawling in terms of album cohesion. Yet there was a great assemblage of talent (Peter Green even sat in) and it all works very well in the end.
During workout some plant, a quite good album...

This album split the opinions of Air fans, I think its very good and a great way to start off this lovely sunny summer morning.
Just dropped the dog off at the vet's for an operation and needed something soothing. This is fitting the bill.

Probably need something even more soothing when I get the vets bill....

Thanks Eloise - just a routine spaying operation + a few other bits and pieces ( a "full service") - she is quite old though (10) so it's always a bit worrying. Cheers Nick
