Not up to the standard of the iconic A Salty Sea Dog or Broken Barricades but it's a pretty good album.
Tracey Thorn "Love And Its Opposite"
Rush, Moving Pictures, the 2015 version. Hardly listened to any music over the last fortnight as I've been fighting a chest infection and rather ill, surprising how unengaging music sounds when you feel that way. Anyway I must be getting there because this sounds sublime. 24 bits of musical perfection via Audirvana/Hugo
Buick 6 - Plays well with others. Lucinda Williams' backing band - they were amazing live the other night. Giving this a spin via Tidal . Great bluesy rock.
Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson "Break Up"
Pete Yorn "Back & Fourth"

Red Giant by Barrows
Heavy instrumental psychedlic rock that is rather good.
Double LP from the "Five Years" box which I acquired yesterday - lots of rarities and unreleased goodies. Peerless music, on nice quiet flat, noise-free vinyl.
Joseph Arthur "Come To Where I'm From"
Kris Delmhorst "Blood Test"
Grieg: Piano Concerto , Sonata, Lyric Pieces -Leif Ove Andsnes. Masterpiece

Still my favourite Sabbath album. Indeed one of my favourite albums, period.
Riverside. Love, Fear and the Time Machine via Tidal. After getting into Lunatic Soul, who are a side project of Riversides, Mariusz Duda I am going through these Guys Albums and I am liking it so far.
I've had this album since its release and it doesn't get a play very often but when I do I'm always reminded of its merits. Bluebird in particular is a lovely song.
One sort of followed the other...
Both on original vinyl.
Just been listening to this (excellent vinyl) and wondering whether to get the new one. I am a great fan but I thought her songwriting was a bit disappointing on this - the two strongest tracks are possibly the title track (derived from a poem by her father) and J J Cale's Magnolia. Any view on the new Ghosts of Highway 20 album (an enthusiastic review in the Guardian today by Robin Denselow)?

A couple of CD. rips:-
RUSH - Roll The Bones, followbed by Time Stands Still
Steven Wilson, 4 1/2 nasty MP3 Autorip as the CD is a new release and is on its way. First Listen. Cast off's from other albums these tracks maybe, but they are very good. Looking forward to hearing it properly.
'A Change in the Weather' by Clive Gregson and Christine Collister
Vinyl.
I have liked Christine's voice for a long time. I don't know why she's not enjoyed greater commercial success.

Listening to a 24/96 download from Quobuz. First listen but impressions are good, it feels a bit more Jazzy than HCE. Looking forward to the reworking of Don't Hate Me, one of my favourite Porupine Tree songs.
Execellent vfm @Quobuz, It is great that SW is not overcharging for the high res versions.
