More work for Tidal and this is really good bluesy heavy rock. ![]()

Prompted by earlier posts - what a cracking album this is. Rather ashamed to say I haven't listened to her music before. Tidal.

Phil Collins, Face Value, for some reason it's no longer cool to listen to Phil but I really don't care because this is a brilliant album and, as a life long Rush fan, I'm well used to not being cool. The Roof is Leaking is one of my fave songs ever. 24 bit Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

Some really hate this album for its 'warts & all' portrayal of an ageing voice, but I really like it.
Superb dynamic recording too.

Just a suggestion ,as it seems your taste in music is similar to mine. The Sword. If your unfamiliar with them the earlier album seems more metal but still has that stoner rock vibe. Very cool. Also Kadavar. German rock band that is heavy. Black Sabbath influence for sure.

On vinyl.

Making Tidal earn its money this month, I have the studio release but not the Live recordings which is sounding good right from the off.
I should follow your advice, Tidal is for me something in the background to quickly check if I like a new album for buying. I am not yet using it as extension of my collection.
Thanks for reminding me that I should.
Will listen it now
Quite a back-catalogue to explore (good old Tidal).

1968 UK repackaging of the 1965 album, recorded live at the Crawdaddy Club on December 8th 1963.

Certainly one of the best albums to come out of the so called British Blues Explosion.............deserves more recognition.

Them (1980's issue the debut album originally released in 1965, featuring Van Morrison.

Some early evening classic soul.

No reason not to continue down memory lane.
